Karen Vos, Department Assistant, Writing

As a writing department assistant, Karen assists with all oversight, reporting and administrative matters related to SMARTHINKING's writing tutor team.

Prior to joining SMARTHINKING, Karen worked for the University of Pennsylvania Health System as a Marketing Specialist. In this role, she coordinated the production and promotion of various medical services and specialties, including Neurology & Neurosurgery as well as Cardiac Care.

Karen graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Communications. In the past, she has volunteered with an adult literacy program and hopes to continue her volunteer work with DC-Cares.
