Maria is in her freshman year at a state university, where she is studying business. She did well in high school, but upon arriving at college quickly realized that the work is a lot more challenging. Maria wants to someday open her own business, and her professors have encouraged her to consider pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree. However, Maria knows she can't graduate, let alone pursue an MBA, if she can't master core courses like accounting.
